Everything is running smoothly so far, I have 1 more book to read for the mini challenge, which means I will need to increase the books I read in the challenges. One of my goals this year is to get into a more healthy state of being for many reasons. The main reason is I want another child, for this to happen I need to have a surgery done and with this I must be at my best. I am also looking into being more earth friendly and not lazy about it. I've joined a local group of green mommies hoping they will be my motivation to learn and expand on my knowledge. As a part of this group I found out about Moms Meet and became a Mom's Ambassador. What does this mean? It means that I get invites and if accepted products to try with my group. We are looking forward to our first meetings in a few weeks.
Guess what? I just joined Happy Mothering and The Green Moms Network who has teamed up with Wee Rock Toy Co. to giveaway one of their heirloom-quality rockers ($300 value!).Wee Rock Toy Co. Founders, Catherine O’Sullivan and Michael Galea, used their architectural training to create a classic rocking horse using sustainable materials and a unique design. Each rocker has just six parts that are shipped flat and can be assembled with no tools, no glue and no hardware!
All of their classic rockers are crafted from bamboo plywood – an ultra high quality, renewable and child-safe material. Unlike most plywood, the bamboo plywood used by Wee Rock uses a soy-based adhesive that emits zero VOCs and is a responsibly sourced renewable material. The bamboo parts are simply finished with a food-grade butcher-block conditioner. All of these toys are cut, finished and packaged in the United States!
So keep your eyes open for the signup announcement!
Looking to a Healthier Year,
Brittany
